On November 6, to cope with the storm, the commune proactively evacuated 5 households/13 people living in the downstream area of Ea Sup Ha Lake (village 5 Ea Sup), 1 household/6 people in village 18 Ea Le to a safe place. At the same time, 18 households living and farming in the island hamlet of village 13 Ea Le were required to proactively evacuate to a high and safe place.
Due to the rapid rise in water level, the local people were unable to move 23 buffaloes (worth about 10 million VND/head) that were in the low-lying area along the Ea Sup stream, so they drowned. Early this morning, the commune government mobilized some individuals to support and called on traders to come and buy buffaloes, helping the local people reduce their losses in difficult times.
