Musician Hoang Viet's Art Program - Love Songs for Everyone

The art program Music Portrait - Artist Hoang Viet Tinh ca dang ca bao nguoi was elaborately performed, the musical works, video clips, and dramatic skits were staged and seamlessly connected like a comprehensive and quite complete story about the life, ideals, and great contributions of musician Hoang Viet to Vietnamese music.

On the evening of September 23, at the City Theater, the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association and Ho Chi Minh City Television organized, the City Light Music Center performed the art program Music Portrait - Musician Hoang Viet with the theme Love Songs for Everyone. The special art program was performed to commemorate musician Hoang Viet on the occasion of his 95th birthday.

Musician Hoang Viet's birth name is Le Chi Truc, known by other pen names such as Le Truc, Hoang Viet Han and Le Quynh. He was born on February 28, 1928 in Cho Lon (now Ho Chi Minh City) and died on December 31, 1967 on the bank of the A Rat canal, My Thien village, Cai Be district, Tien Giang province, at the age of 39. Le Chi Truc composed very early, then following the call of the country, he joined the resistance, gathered in the North, studied at the Bulgarian Conservatory, graduated with honors with the symphony Que Huong, which was also the first symphony of Vietnamese music to be performed in Bulgaria. Returning to the country, he volunteered to return to the South and in the midst of the war, musician Hoang Viet lived, composed and fought until his last breath.
