On the afternoon of August 1, in Hanoi, Nhan Dan Newspaper and Hanoi People's Committee announced the political art program "Fatherland in the heart". Attending the announcement ceremony were Party Central Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh; Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung.

The art program “Fatherland in the Heart” is a cultural and political event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The program is expected to attract 50,000 live audiences at My Dinh National Stadium and millions of viewers via television and social media platforms.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh affirmed: "Fatherland in the Heart" is a symphony of patriotism, where millions of Vietnamese hearts beat together under the red flag with yellow star.
With the message “The Fatherland is not far away - The Fatherland is in everyone's heart”, the program brings a journey of deep emotions, connecting the heroic memories of the past with the aspirations of the present and the future. This is a completely free artistic gift for the people, affirming the pioneering role of Nhan Dan Newspaper in creating a cultural and spiritual space with far-reaching influence.
Regarding the program, General Director Dang Le Minh Tri said, “Fatherland in the Heart” will recreate the historical milestones of the country associated with the image of the red flag with yellow star, a sacred symbol of patriotism and national aspirations.

The stage is designed on a national and international scale, divided into 4 zones with meaningful messages: Independence, Freedom, Happiness, Red Flag with Yellow Star. The entire performance space is arranged in a V shape, 26 meters high, as a vivid declaration of love and pride of every Vietnamese child for their homeland.
According to the general director, each performance will bring emotional musical experiences while awakening the proud and sacred feelings about the Fatherland. “Coming to the show, the audience will sing together immortal songs, lighting up the flash lights to turn the stadium into a sea of sparkling light. Each person is not just an audience, but a part of the show, a beat in the heart of the Fatherland,” emphasized general director Dang Le Minh Tri.
Music - the highlight of the program, directed by musician Nguyen Huu Vuong, "revives" immortal songs to reach all generations.
The general director added that for the first time on a concert stage, cinematic and studio effects will appear to enhance the experience of the artistic performances.

According to the Organizing Committee, one of the emotional highlights of the program "Fatherland in the Heart" was the moment when 50,000 spectators stood up, turned towards the red flag with a yellow star fluttering in the middle of the stadium and sang the National Anthem in unison.
In addition, the performance of 68 soldiers from the Army Officer School 1, who represented the Vietnam People's Army in the parade at Red Square (Moscow, Russia) will also impress the audience.
“Fatherland in the Heart” brings together veteran artists and leading young artists of Vietnam such as People's Artist Thu Huyen, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, singer Tung Duong, Vo Ha Tram, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Ha Le, Suboi, Oplus group... with many unexpected and interesting duets and harmonies.

In addition, the program also features outstanding athletes such as Quang Hai, Anh Vien, Le Van Cong and many sports figures who have brought glory to the country in international arenas.
The program ended with a brilliant 8-minute fireworks display, starting at 10 p.m., at the F1 racetrack (Tu Liem ward, Hanoi), with 300 high-altitude fireworks and 60 low-altitude fireworks displays.
The political art program “Fatherland in the Heart” will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 10 at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi) and will be broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television (Hanoi2 channel) and rebroadcast on local radio and television stations; livestream on Nhan Dan Newspaper fanpage, Hanoi International Light Festival and other social media channels.
The organizers encourage spectators to hold tickets, sing the national anthem and cover My Dinh Stadium with red shirts with yellow stars. Spectators who have successfully registered for tickets via the online platform will receive tickets directly at Nhan Dan Newspaper (71 Hang Trong, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi) on August 2 and 3.
