According to Decision No. 612/QD-CTNCTN dated June 27, 2024, the President conferred the title "People's Teacher" on 21 teachers who have made great contributions to the cause of education and training.
16/21 teachers work at university level, are professors, associate professors, doctors, and colonels.
The remaining 5 teachers work at the secondary level. Of these, 3 do not hold leadership positions, but are just teachers.
2/3 of the teachers teach at the province's specialized high school, there is 1 teacher teaching primary school at the school in Lac Hoa commune, Vinh Chau town, Soc Trang province. That is teacher Do Thi Hoi.
In 2022, Ms. Do Thi Hoi was honored by the Ministry of Education and Training as one of the 400 outstanding teachers in the country.
