The fair takes place from March 14 to 18, at Anh Hung Nup Street, Dai Doan Ket Square (Pleiku City). Of the 200 booths at the fair, about 60 booths display products from 25 provinces and cities in the Central, Central Highlands, Southwest regions and some northern provinces. The booths at the fair display and introduce OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, products with regional characteristics; industrial products, small-scale industry, handicrafts, craft villages; culinary products. In addition, there are booths for banking, financial, telecommunications, tourism services, etc.

Ms. Phan Thi Huong (588 Pham Van Dong, Pleiku City) said: “This fair is large-scale, with diverse goods, especially specialties from various provinces and cities. When visiting the booths, I saw that most of the products met quality certification standards. In addition to Gia Lai's typical products such as coffee, pepper, macadamia, honey and herbal tea bags such as perilla, passionflower tea, guava tea, etc., there are also many famous products from other provinces for customers to visit and shop.”
The fair is part of a series of major events, so many visitors from all over the country flock to it. This is an opportunity for manufacturers to introduce, promote, and contribute to bringing their local specialties far and wide. Regularly participating in many domestic fairs, Mr. Nguyen Vu Phu Truong - Owner of Truong Phu Herbal Tea Production Facility (An Phu Commune, Pleiku City) shared: "These days, every time customers visit the booth, they learn about herbal teas, then experience the products directly and have good feedback. I think this is a potential source of customers for the facility to develop the market in the future." According to Mr. Truong, the trend of consumers is increasingly leaning towards healthy drinks, so this is an opportunity for him to continue researching and creating many new products from locally available herbal ingredients.

Participating in the fair for the first time in Gia Lai, Nhu Quynh Food Processing and Trading Private Enterprise ( Ninh Binh province) brought specialty products, namely Nhu Quynh sticky rice with 4-star OCOP certification. Ms. Ta Thi Huyen - Representative of the enterprise said: "The product is inspired by traditional dishes and is made from yellow flower sticky rice - a famous ingredient of Ninh Binh. Participating in this fair, we hope to introduce the traditional flavors of Ninh Binh's hometown and hope to find a distributor to expand the consumption market in Gia Lai".
Mr. Nguyen Quang Phu - Director of Yen Dao Viet Joint Stock Company (Binh Dinh province) shared: “This is the first time the Company has come to Gia Lai, but I see that the scale of the fair is very grand, and it is part of a series of major events in the province, so there are many large enterprises gathering. The Company currently has bird's nest products and ready-to-eat bird's nest products that meet OCOP 3 stars. Although there are also bird's nest products in Gia Lai, the difference in geographical areas means that the Company's bird's nest products have their own unique characteristics. Therefore, when participating in the fair, I hope that my Company's products will be known to more people."

Most of the products participating in this fair were selected by the organizers based on the criteria of OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, and characteristic products to ensure that the introduced products are of good quality and have development potential. The initial success of the fair was to bring products from manufacturers closer to consumers through the demonstration of a fairly high increase in sales compared to previous fairs. In addition to displaying and introducing products, many businesses also organized for visitors to try out products, promotions of buy 3 get 1 free, etc., which attracted a large number of customers.

This is a set of products certified as typical rural industrial products at the national level in 2023. With quality certifications, it has helped partners trust more, thereby promoting consumption links. Currently, the company's products are present in many provinces and cities across the country. "Through programs like this, I hope to approach many large enterprises to learn how to promote brands, update market trends, and at the same time establish relationships with suppliers, business partners and enterprises in the coffee processing industry" - Mr. Trung expressed.
Mr. Pham Van Binh - Director of Gia Lai Department of Industry and Trade said: Taking advantage of natural conditions and geographical location, Gia Lai has formed and developed many large-scale specialized areas, applying high technology to produce key agricultural products with high economic value, bearing the typical imprint of the locality, meeting international trade standards and having great export potential. Many products of the province such as L'amant Café have achieved National Brand, Phuong Di Honey has achieved 5-star OCOP products and many OCOP products have achieved 3-4 star standards.

“This fair takes place on the occasion of the province's important event to affirm its position and honor the achievements in 50 years of building and defending the Fatherland, especially the achievements in nearly 40 years of implementing the Party's renovation policy. The activities taking place at the fair are also an opportunity for businesses and people to update new trends, apply science and technology in production towards sustainable development, associated with connection, conservation of natural resources and economic development. Through this fair, it will create conditions for businesses, cooperatives, and production and business households to increase exchanges and learn from experiences to continuously improve product quality, meeting the increasingly high demands of domestic and foreign consumers. Thereby, contributing to promoting trade promotion activities, expanding consumption markets not only domestically but also towards export in the coming time" - Mr. Binh said.
