24/7 medical facility

QNgTV- Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen has just signed an official dispatch to the Department of Health of Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai provinces and units under the Ministry in the Central region, requesting to focus on emergency response and overcoming the consequences of heavy rain and floods.

The Ministry of Health requires medical facilities to be on duty 24/7, ready to receive and provide emergency care to flood victims; not to interrupt medical examination and treatment activities. Units need to proactively stock up on medicines, supplies, chemicals, equipment, and backup power sources, ensuring adequate conditions to respond when isolated or flooded.

At the same time, organize patient evacuation, protect property, strengthen medical examination and treatment facilities, and ensure the safety of medical staff. Localities must closely monitor the development of floods and deploy prevention plans appropriate to the actual situation.

The Ministry also requested monitoring and disease prevention after floods, promptly handling outbreaks, ensuring environmental sanitation, clean water and food safety, and preventing disease outbreaks.
