Information from Bach Mai Hospital said that Bach Mai Hospital has just held a discharge ceremony for 10 patients who were victims of the fire at a mini apartment building on Khuong Ha Street, Thanh Xuan District.
Mr. Dao Xuan Co - Director of the Hospital, on behalf of the medical staff, sent congratulations and encouragement to the patients and their families.
Mr. Dao Xuan Co shared: The mini apartment fire on Khuong Ha street was one of the big fires with 56 people killed and many injured. Although it has passed, the consequences left behind are extremely terrible.

Previously, as reported, in the early morning of September 13, Bach Mai Hospital received 26 cases of victims hospitalized due to inhalation of toxic gases in the fire at different levels, including 2 patients in severe respiratory failure, 2 patients with multiple injuries, 7 children (the youngest 8 months old) and the oldest patient is 81 years old.
Immediately after receiving the first patient, the hospital activated the red emergency system, focusing all resources on emergency care and treatment for the patient. In addition, the hospital also established a special working group to conduct daily meetings, consultations and handle arising situations to ensure the best and most timely treatment for patients.
In addition to maximizing resources in rescue and treatment for victims of the fire, Bach Mai Hospital also ensures care for the lives and mental health of patients and their families.
The hospital management and doctors regularly visit and encourage patients and their families. They do not charge any fees or other living expenses from patients or their families.
After 10 days of treatment and care at Bach Mai Hospital, the 10 patients have been discharged. The remaining 21 patients continue to be treated at the hospital, including 1 severe case undergoing intensive care at the Intensive Care Center; 1 case of heel injury is currently undergoing surgery by the hospital's doctors; the remaining 19 cases have improved and need to be monitored for possible disorders.
The Director of Bach Mai Hospital also sent his congratulations to the first 10 patients to be discharged from the hospital. "I hope that you will put aside your grief and take care of your health and your family's health. We share the pain of the patients, but life is still ahead, and your health needs to be taken care of," Associate Professor Dao Xuan Co shared.
In the spirit of mutual love and support, joining hands to provide maximum resources for the victims of the fire, during the ceremony, the representative of the hospital's Board of Directors presented discharge papers and gifts to the patients.
During the treatment period at Bach Mai Hospital, more than 150 groups and individuals visited, shared, encouraged and donated a total of over 4 billion VND to the patients who were victims of the fire and were being treated at the hospital.
