On July 21, An Giang Provincial Police held a conference to deploy a plan to launch a high-point attack, suppress crime, ensure security and order for activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and Party congresses at all levels. Colonel Nguyen Nhat Truong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, chaired the conference.

Conference overview

The peak period will be implemented from August 1 to September 15. The police force of the whole province will proactively grasp the situation, promptly detect, handle and prevent from early, from afar, right at the grassroots level any complicated issues that arise in the area, not to be passive or surprised in any situation.

Mobilize the strength of the entire political system, mobilize people to participate in the implementation of the peak, create an offensive atmosphere, strongly suppress all types of crimes, determined to ensure security and order, protect the safety of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and Party Congresses at all levels in the province.

At the same time, the Provincial Police have strengthened the effective fight against all types of crimes and law violations on traffic routes, such as: illegal racing, transporting drugs, prohibited goods, illegal mining, etc.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Nguyen Nhat Truong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, directed the police force of the whole province to uphold the sense of responsibility, organize well the work of duty, ensure the information reporting system and solidarity in performing public duties; strictly implement the provisions of law, working procedures, and regulations of the People's Police; improve cultural behavior, create a good image of the provincial police force for the people, and be determined to effectively implement the peak. Advise the Party Committees and authorities at all levels to strengthen direction; mobilize departments, branches, and organizations to participate, coordinate, and support the police force in preventing, attacking, and suppressing crimes, ensuring security and order at the grassroots level.
