Ho Chi Minh City police arrest reactionary member of "Multi-party Democracy Collective"

(Dan Tri) - Despite being worked on, warned, and warned by the Ho Chi Minh City Police, Tran Khac Duc remained stubborn and blindly believed in the direction of sabotage activities of the exiled reactionary organization.

On November 9, Ho Chi Minh City Police prosecuted and temporarily detained Tran Khac Duc (born 1995, residing in District 7) for making, storing, disseminating or propagating information, documents and items aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, Tran Khac Duc was previously discovered by authorities to be participating in the exiled reactionary organization "Multi-party Democracy Group". Authorities have worked with, warned, and warned him many times, however, Duc, with his stubborn nature, was deeply infected, and blindly believed in the direction of sabotage activities of the exiled reactionary organization.

Tran Khac Duc still contacted and received instructions from the leaders of the organization, carried out many activities such as managing reactionary websites, drafting, posting, and sharing many articles with anti-state, reactionary content, insulting great people, leaders, celebrities, and national heroes like President Ho Chi Minh ; providing false and fabricated information, violating the honor and reputation of the Party; distorting history, denying revolutionary achievements, and sabotaging the great national unity bloc. In addition, Tran Khac Duc also searched for, connected with, and developed domestic forces for the organization "Multi-party Democracy Gathering".

Ho Chi Minh City Police said that this is a very dangerous act, directly violating national security and the political security situation in the city, and needs to be strictly handled to promptly warn delusional and blind individuals who believe in the distorted arguments of hostile and reactionary forces at home and abroad, leading to activities that violate Vietnamese law.

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Security Investigation Agency continues to investigate and clarify the criminal acts of Tran Khac Duc and other related individuals and organizations to handle them according to the provisions of law.

The exiled reactionary organization "Multi-party Democracy Collective" led by Nguyen Gia Kieng (in France) conducts many subversive activities such as taking advantage of social networking sites and media channels to connect and attract people to join the organization, establish domestic groups to conduct activities against the State of Vietnam; conduct propaganda activities, sabotage ideology, distort and attack the regime, oppose the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and demand pluralism and multi-party system. The above activities of this organization seriously violate the laws of the State of Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh City Police Department recommends that people be vigilant against activities against the Vietnamese State. When discovering personal information or organizations related to the organization "Multi-party Democracy Gathering", please immediately report to the nearest police agency for timely prevention and handling.
