Vinh Thuan Commune Police Help Mentally Ill Man Return Home

Seeing Mr. T. showing signs of mental illness, Vinh Thuan Commune Police took him to the headquarters for care and posted information on social networking sites. Thanks to that, his family was able to find him and come pick him up.

On September 15, 2025, during a patrol, the Vinh Thuan Commune Police Patrol Team ( Hai Phong ) discovered a skinny, dark man, about 1.65 m tall, showing signs of mental illness. This man had no identification papers on him, and he could not remember his relatives or hometown, so the Patrol Team took him to the Vinh Thuan Commune Police Headquarters to take care of him and posted information and pictures on social networking sites for people to identify and provide information.

On September 19, 2025, Captain Pham The Anh, currently working at the Regional Police Team of Vinh Thuan Commune Police, sent photos to his classmates at the police stations in the communes of Hung Yen province. Thereby, he identified the above-mentioned man as Mr. PKT, born in 1966, residing in Chau Son village, Nguyen Du commune (Hung Yen). Captain Pham The Anh contacted the phone number of Nguyen Du Commune Police and determined that Mr. T. was indeed a resident of the commune, currently suffering from mental illness and having left home for many days, his family searched for him but had no information.

Immediately afterwards, the Nguyen Du Commune Police Command directed the local police officers in charge of the area to exchange contact information with Captain Pham The Anh, and his family members to pick up Mr. T.

Mr. Hoang Van Khai (born in 1995, residing in Chau Son village, Nguyen Du commune, Hung Yen province), Mr. T's nephew, represented the family in writing a letter of thanks to Captain Pham The Anh and all officers and soldiers of Vinh Thuan commune police.
