Announcing 12 national intangible cultural heritages

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued decisions to announce the List of 12 national intangible cultural heritages in Tuyen Quang, Dien Bien, Bac Kan, Cao Bang and Yen Bai provinces.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism includes in the List of national intangible cultural heritage:

1. Social customs and beliefs of the Fire Jumping Festival of the Pa Then people, Hong Quang commune, Lam Binh district, Tuyen Quang province;

2. Folk performing arts Lao dance art, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien Dong district, Dien Bien province;

3. Traditional festival: Hong Thai Communal House Festival, Tan Trao Commune, Son Duong District, Tuyen Quang Province;

4. Social customs and beliefs: Family worship ceremony of the White Mong people, Tuan Giao district, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien Dong district, Dien Bien province;

5. Folk knowledge: The art of making costumes of the Ha Nhi people, Sin Thau commune, Leng Su Sin commune, Sen Thuong commune, Chung Chai commune, Muong Nhe district, Dien Bien province;

6. Folk knowledge, social customs and beliefs Knowledge about water wheels of the Tay people, Trung Ha commune, Ha Lang commune, Chiem Hoa district, Con Lon commune, Na Hang district, Phuc Yen commune, Lam Binh district, Tuyen Quang province;

7. Folk knowledge, social customs and beliefs Knowledge and rice growing customs of the Tay people, Lang Can commune, Hong Quang commune, Khuon Ha commune, Thuong Lam commune, Phuc Yen commune, Lam Binh district, Tuyen Quang province;

8. Folk performing art of Lullaby of the Tay people in Giao Hieu commune, Pac Nam district, Bac Kan province;

9. Traditional handicrafts: Brocade weaving of the Tay people in Ngoc Dao commune, Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province;

10. Traditional handicrafts: Blacksmithing of the Mong people, Dien Bien province;

11. Folk performing art: The art of Khen of the Mong people, Mu Cang Chai district, Tram Tau district, Van Chan district, Yen Bai province;

12. Traditional festival of the oath of loyalty at Dong Co temple, Buoi ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi city.

The Chairman of the People's Committee at all levels where intangible cultural heritage is included in the List, within the scope of his/her duties and powers, shall carry out state management in accordance with the provisions of law on cultural heritage.
