The “Influencer Trust” program aims to establish a system for evaluating the reputation and social responsibility of KOLs/KOCs.

The conference “KOL with the era of national growth”, jointly organized by the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention ( Ministry of Public Security ) and the National Cyber Security Association, took place on the morning of August 18, in Hanoi.

According to Major General Le Xuan Minh, Director of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05), KOLs in cyberspace contribute to shaping social awareness, leading trends, promoting creativity and promoting and spreading Vietnamese values.

KOLs need to be deeply aware of their impact in every statement, image, and action. Along with that, management agencies, technology platforms... also need to join hands to orient, accompany, and support the creation of a healthy environment for KOLs to promote patriotism and promote positive influence.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Chinh, Permanent Vice President of the National Cyber Security Association, said that the conference is the first step for a cooperation network between KOLs, management agencies, businesses, digital platforms and the press, towards standards of conduct and a safe and healthy network environment.

The birth of the Digital Trust Alliance, gathering prestigious KOLs, helps the public identify positive information, protect digital trust and enhance national soft power.

The speakers' discussion focused on enhancing KOLs' social responsibility, building a safe and healthy online environment, promoting creativity associated with human values, and enhancing cooperation between management agencies, digital platforms, and the KOL community.

Many artists and influential figures in the community, such as MC Khanh Vy, Miss Bao Ngoc, etc., have shared their views and experiences, wishing to contribute to the development of a civilized digital society.

At the panel discussion with the theme “Trust and Expectation”, delegates also shared about the roles, responsibilities and opportunities to spread positive influence in the digital society; opening up many diverse perspectives, from management policies, technology solutions, communication strategies to content creation stories.

Also at the conference, the Digital Trust Alliance was launched. The Digital Trust Alliance brings together KOLs, regulators, platforms, businesses and the press to join hands to fight fake news, online fraud, non-transparent advertising and spread positive, humane values in the community.

The alliance is expected to become a space for connecting and sharing experiences, while also building a self-monitoring mechanism to enhance transparency and social responsibility of influencers.

Along with that, the conference also announced the “Influencer Trust” program, aiming to establish a system to evaluate the reputation and social responsibility of KOLs/KOCs. This will be an important tool to help the public, businesses and platforms have a basis to identify and cooperate with individuals who truly spread positive and trustworthy values.
