Announcement of hotline to support loans for 120,000 billion VND package

On April 6, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province said that in order to effectively implement the program of lending for social housing, workers' housing, and renovating and rebuilding old apartments according to Resolution 33/NQ-CP, Binh Duong province has announced a hotline for people facing difficulties to report.

Accordingly, the State Bank of Vietnam, Binh Duong branch, is responsible for providing the hotline number and list of standing departments to receive and handle feedback, recommendations and proposals from businesses and people in the area related to the 120,000 billion VND loan program.

Specifically, in Binh Duong province, social housing buyers and social housing investors who want to access loans but encounter difficulties and problems can contact the hotline for the State Bank of the province at 2 phone numbers: Mr. Nguyen Van Phuoc, Deputy Director 0918.258.638 and Mr. Le Quang Nam, Chief Inspector 0989.006.755.

Through the hotline to answer and resolve problems for organizations, low-income workers, and businesses that want to access the 120,000 billion VND loan package.

This credit package gives priority to borrowers buying social housing, and also supports organizations and businesses that are investors in building social housing or renovating old apartments to borrow from this support package.

Currently, in Binh Duong province, there are 4 social housing construction projects approved by the province for a loan portfolio of 120,000 billion VND with preferential interest rates from 1.5 to 2% depending on each project, including:

Tan Dong Hiep social housing apartment project, Di An City, invested by Toan Thinh Phat Housing Development and Trading Company Limited;

An Sinh Social Housing Project in Chanh My Ecological Urban Area (phase 1), Chanh My Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, invested by Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD);

The project of social housing area adjacent to Cau Do residential area project, An Dien commune, Ben Cat town, invested by Thuan Loi Investment and Development Joint Stock Company;

The adjacent social housing project belongs to the Thuan Loi 2 commercial housing project in Ben Cat Town, invested by Thuan Loi Investment and Development Joint Stock Company. The total social housing products of the above 4 projects are nearly 2,400 units with a loan demand of more than 1,200 billion VND.

With 29 industrial parks in operation, Binh Duong has more than 1.6 million workers, so the demand for social housing for workers and low-income workers is extremely large. According to statistics from the Department of Construction of Binh Duong province, up to now, the province has put into use 25 independent social housing projects on an area of 140 hectares of land with nearly 1.4 million square meters of construction floor, providing over 34,000 apartments. In 2024, the province strives to develop from 8,000 to 10,000 social housing units for workers to live and work in the area.

With the VND120,000 billion loan package program under Resolution 33/NQ-CP, Binh Duong's announcement of a hotline will help low-income workers and laborers in the area more easily access social housing projects to address their practical housing needs.
