Announcement of the Decision to inspect the responsibility for performing public duties at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province

Attending the announcement of the inspection decision were Mr. Nguyen Danh Huy, Deputy Minister of Transport ; Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Phi; Mr. Le Vu Tuan Anh, Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Decision No. 756/QD-TTCP dated December 29, 2023 of the Government Inspectorate clearly states: Decision on the inspection of the responsibility for performing public duties of cadres, civil servants and public employees in handling administrative procedures and providing public services to people and businesses at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province.

The inspection period is from June 15, 2021 to November 30, 2023. If necessary, relevant contents may be inspected before or after the inspection period. The inspection period is 45 actual working days at the unit from the date of announcement of the Inspection Decision, excluding holidays as prescribed by law.

The inspection team consists of 12 members, led by Mr. Vu Quoc Cong, Senior Inspector, Deputy Director of Department I, Government Inspectorate.

Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Danh Huy, together with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, affirmed to strictly comply with the inspection decision. They are ready to cooperate with the inspection team in providing records and documents when requested by the team.

Speaking at the announcement of the decision, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Le Sy Bay directed that the Inspection Team needs to develop a focused and key inspection plan, focusing on the contents according to the requirements so that the inspection results can answer the questions: Are administrative procedures at the units still cumbersome? Are they causing difficulties for people and businesses? Have administrative discipline been strictly implemented or not? In addition, the Inspection Team needs to properly implement the guidelines and Conclusions of the Prime Minister at the 5th meeting of the Government's Steering Committee for Administrative Reform, to answer the questions raised.

Deputy Inspector General of the Government Le Sy Bay affirmed that the Government Inspectorate always accompanies ministries, branches, provinces and cities in resolving administrative procedure problems, especially sensitive areas related to people and businesses.

For the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment as well as the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Le Sy Bay requested the units to assign focal points to work with the Delegation, promptly provide complete documents, and create all favorable conditions to help the Inspection Delegation complete the assigned tasks well. At the same time, he reminded the units to strictly comply with the regulations on speaking regulations and information provision in accordance with the regulations on protecting state secrets.
