Announcing the decision on personnel organization at the Market Management Department

On the afternoon of July 25, the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai province held a conference to announce decisions on organization and personnel work at the Market Management Department.

At the conference, the Provincial People's Committee's Decision on regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai province was announced.

The leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade presented the decision to appoint the Head and Deputy Heads of the Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai province (after the merger).

Accordingly, the Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department is an administrative organization under the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai Province; on the basis of merging the Yen Bai Provincial Market Management Department and the Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department from July 1, 2025. The Department consists of 2 specialized and professional departments and 9 market management teams under the Department. The Department is responsible for advising competent authorities on market management work; organizing, directing and implementing inspection activities and handling violations of the law according to its authority; guiding the implementation and disseminating laws related to the activities of the market management force in the assigned area.

The conference also announced the decision on the acceptance and appointment of Mr. Do Du Bac, Head of the Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department (before the merger) to hold the position of Head of the Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai Province (after the merger); decisions on Deputy Head of the Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department; and leadership positions of specialized departments and market management teams under the Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department.

Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Hoang Chi Hien suggested that in the coming time, the unit continue to promote the achieved results, uphold the spirit of solidarity, build a strong force to ensure the successful completion of assigned political tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Du Bac, Head of Lao Cai Province Market Management Department, promised to work with the team to continuously strive to learn, improve professional qualifications, promote the role of the leader, unite and work together to build the Department stronger and stronger.

Immediately after the announcement ceremony of the decisions, the leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade had a meeting with the Market Management Department on the results of implementing tasks for the first 7 months of 2025 and implementing tasks for the last 5 months of 2025 of the Market Management Department.
