Announcing the decision on personnel organization at the Market Management Department

At the conference, the Provincial People's Committee's Decision on regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai province was announced.

The leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade awarded the decision to appoint the Head and Deputy Heads of the Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai province (after merger).

Accordingly, the Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department is an administrative organization under the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai Province; on the basis of merging the Yen Bai Provincial Market Management Department and the Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department from July 1, 2025. The Department consists of 2 specialized and professional departments and 9 market management teams under the Department. The Department is responsible for advising competent authorities on market management; organizing, directing and implementing inspection activities and handling violations of the law according to its authority; guiding the implementation and propagating laws related to the activities of the market management force in the assigned area.

The conference also announced the decision on receiving and appointing Mr. Do Du Bac, Head of Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department (before the merger) to hold the position of Head of Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department under Lao Cai Provincial Department of Industry and Trade (after the merger); decisions on Deputy Head of Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department; leadership positions of specialized departments and market management teams under Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department.

Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Hoang Chi Hien requested that in the coming time, the unit continue to promote the achieved results, uphold the spirit of solidarity, build a strong force to ensure the successful completion of assigned political tasks.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Do Du Bac, Head of Lao Cai Province Market Management Department, promised to work with the team to continuously strive to learn, improve professional qualifications, promote the role of the leader, unite and unanimously build the Department stronger and stronger.

Immediately after the announcement ceremony of the decisions, the leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade had a working session with the Market Management Department on the results of implementing tasks for the first 7 months of 2025 and implementing tasks for the last 5 months of 2025 of the Market Management Department.
