EVN Trade Union visits and encourages workers of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company

Vietnam Electricity Group's Trade Union donated 50 million VND to the unit and 5 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.

In 2024, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the leadership and staff of Thanh Hoa Power Company (PC Thanh Hoa) promoted the spirit of determination, solidarity, and unity to overcome difficulties, successfully completing the task of supplying electricity in the management area, and at the same time achieving many important production and business targets.

The Company's Trade Union and its member establishments always adhere to professional tasks, carry out many practical emulation movements, and focus on taking care of workers' lives. Activities to visit and promptly encourage workers in difficult circumstances are regularly organized. In addition, the Trade Union also actively improves working conditions, increases income, promotes environmental protection movements, implements 5S public service from the office to the power grid, ensures occupational safety and hygiene, and promotes electricity saving. Many cultural, artistic and sports activities are organized to improve the health and spiritual life of workers.

In particular, with the theme “Work Safely – Go Home Safely” deployed in March and April 2025, the Board of Directors and the Company’s Trade Union directly met with all employees’ families to share and discuss safety work. This is a new initiative, demonstrating the leadership’s strong determination to protect the safety of employees.

Reporting to the working delegation, Mr. Le Van Hoan, Director of Hoang Hoa Electricity shared: "EVN Trade Union visited the unit and officers, workers and employees in difficult circumstances, this is a great source of encouragement, adding spirit for us to continue to strive to complete the task well. In the past time, with the spirit of solidarity and continuous efforts, the unit has excellently completed production and business targets, ensuring stable and safe electricity supply for more than 52,000 customers in 42 communes and wards. The rate of electricity loss has continuously decreased, the digitalization of electricity management and business has been promoted". He affirmed that the unit will continue to promote its tradition, overcome challenges, accompany workers to build a sustainable development unit, and make positive contributions to the electricity industry and the locality.

At the meeting, representatives of the Trade Union, professionals and disadvantaged workers of Hoang Hoa Electricity expressed their emotions and thanked the attention of the Trade Unions at all levels in the industry. At the same time, they hoped that in the coming time, the Trade Union would continue to maintain these practical activities; recommended that the electricity industry pay attention to investing in and upgrading the synchronous power grid system, equipping more modern tools and equipment to support workers, thereby reducing labor pressure and improving work efficiency. In addition, there should be more suitable policies for workers working in harsh weather conditions, especially when handling incidents, during holidays, Tet, etc.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Uong Quang Huy, Vice Chairman of EVN Trade Union acknowledged and praised the achievements that PC Thanh Hoa in general and Hoang Hoa Power Company in particular have achieved in production and business activities. He expected all leaders and employees to continue to promote the spirit of loving the profession, improve their qualifications, strive to serve the people's lives well, contribute to the socio -economic development, ensure national defense and security in Thanh Hoa province, worthy of the role of "the pioneering working class entering the new era".

The Vice Chairman of EVN Trade Union also requested PC Thanh Hoa to continue to pay attention to the material and spiritual life of workers; perform well in occupational safety and traffic safety; organize useful activities to improve health, spirit, and restore labor force. He emphasized the need to maintain dialogue with workers, promote the spirit of competition to successfully complete production and business goals and tasks in 2025 and the following years.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 50 million VND to the unit and 5 gifts, each worth 3.5 million VND, to workers in difficult circumstances.

This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the humane spirit of "Thanking workers" of the electricity industry, contributing to encouraging and motivating workers to continue contributing to the sustainable development of the enterprise and the country.
