Viettel Post won double Gold at Globee Awards for Technology 2025
Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Post) made a strong impression on the global technology playground when it won two top Gold awards at the Globee Awards for Technology 2025. This is the fourth consecutive year that the enterprise has been honored, becoming the only representative of the Vietnamese and Asian logistics industry to participate and win.

Viettel Post’s AGV Sorting Robot won the Advanced Robotics Solutions category, thanks to its ability to process up to 6,000 packages per hour, navigate flexibly using magnetic fields, and save energy. More than 500 robots are operating at the processing centers, helping to automatically process up to 1.4 million orders per day—3.5 times higher than previous productivity.

Efforts to localize technology helped Viettel Post win the Best Use of Robotics and Automation award with its self-designed control system and robot. This solution increased productivity by 6 times, reduced logistics costs by 40%, and shortened delivery time to 8-10 hours, with almost no errors.
Viettel Post is currently the only logistics enterprise in Asia to be honored at this prestigious technology award, affirming Vietnam's position on the global technology map.
Microsoft saves $500 million thanks to AI
Less than a week after cutting 9,000 employees in the third round of layoffs in 2025, Microsoft has just announced internal savings of up to $500 million thanks to the application of AI technology, especially in customer care centers.

Microsoft’s chief commercial officer, Judson Althoff, said AI tools have helped boost productivity in sales, customer service, and software engineering. But the statement was controversial because it came just after Microsoft ended a successful quarter with $26 billion in profits and $70 billion in revenue, and at the same time, it had just announced massive layoffs.
Microsoft has a market capitalization of about $3.74 trillion, surpassing Apple and trailing only Nvidia. It has pledged to invest $80 billion in AI infrastructure this year, and is increasing its hiring of top AI experts — even as it cuts management and mid-level positions.
Tesla adds Grok chatbot to electric cars amid anti-Semitic controversy
Billionaire Elon Musk's Tesla Group has just announced that it will integrate artificial intelligence chatbot Grok into its electric car lines from next week, despite a wave of criticism after Grok posted a series of anti-Semitic content on the X platform.
Grok, a product of Musk’s xAI company, is marketed as an “anti-awakening AI” option and is capable of answering sensitive questions that other chatbots avoid. However, the recent Grok 3 version caused a stir when it called itself “MechaHitler,” praised Adolf Hitler, and promoted conspiracy theories involving Jews.

xAI has removed the controversial posts and pledged to moderate content before Grok posts. Musk admitted that Grok was “too easy to manipulate” and is being reworked to avoid a repeat of the incident.
The announcement of Grok integration into Tesla vehicles comes just hours after xAI released Grok 4. Grok is expected to assist users with navigation, adjusting settings, and answering questions by voice.
Tesla is facing pressure from shareholders after its stock fell 27% this year, in part due to Musk’s ties to the Trump administration. Tesla’s annual shareholder meeting is scheduled for November 6.
