Deputy Head of the Government Cipher Committee Nguyen Huu Hung highly appreciated the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee for paying attention to implementing cipher work, information security and safety work and achieving many results.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung proposed that the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Kien Giang province continue to lead and direct the effective implementation of Resolution 56-NQ/TW, dated March 5, 2020 of the Politburo on the development strategy of Vietnam's cryptographic industry to 2030 and orientation to 2045: the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws on the field of cryptography, security, and information security.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Hung emphasized that in the coming time, Kien Giang will coordinate more closely with the Government Cipher Committee in state management of the local cipher sector.

Local Party committees and authorities pay attention to implementing well the work of building, consolidating and perfecting the organization, staffing and job positions according to the guidance of the Central Government and relevant sectors in building the province's key force. Ensure the best conditions for the key force to always fulfill its assigned tasks well.

According to the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, in recent years, the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, heads of agencies and units have always paid attention to leading and directing the serious implementation of the Party's policies and resolutions on cryptographic work. They have paid attention to building a stable cryptographic force in terms of organization and political ideology, focusing on training to improve professional qualifications and skills.

Information security, information safety, and network security through cryptographic products of the cryptographic industry have been gradually deployed, bringing positive results.

Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units have effectively implemented documents on ensuring information safety and security, and protecting state secrets. To date, Kien Giang has deployed 23/25 essential public services; completed the issuance of chip-embedded citizen identification cards, and is accelerating the issuance of electronic identification accounts.

The public service system and electronic one-stop information system of Kien Giang province have been connected to the national population database to serve the exploitation and lookup of citizen information when handling administrative procedures and providing public services.

Kien Giang deploys the integration of digital signatures on the province's administrative procedure settlement information system and electronic office system, promoting the effective use of digital signatures in state agencies.
