(NLDO)- In just the first 3 months of the year, Mobile World opened 232 new Bach Hoa Xanh stores.

Mobile World Investment Corporation (stock code: MWG) has just announced its consolidated financial report for the first quarter of 2025, with strong growth in business indicators such as net revenue of VND 36,134 billion, up nearly 15% over the same period.

After deducting expenses, the company's after-tax profit was VND1,547 billion, up 71% over last year. This is the second highest quarterly profit in the company's history, after the fourth quarter of 2021.

By the end of the first quarter of 2025, Mobile World held cash and cash equivalents worth VND 2,658 billion, down 45.7% compared to the end of 2024, of which bank deposits accounted for 85% with VND 2,260 billion.

In terms of business, in the first 3 months of 2025, the The Gioi Di Dong and Dien May Xanh chains are still the two main pillars of this retail giant, with total revenue reaching more than 24,200 billion VND, an increase of 14% compared to the same period in 2024. Of which, online channels contributed 6% of total revenue.

Bach Hoa Xanh chain has a strong increase in revenue, reaching more than 11,000 billion VND, up 20% over the same period. The revenue growth momentum comes from both fresh food and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs). These industries all maintain double-digit growth compared to the same period.

Notably, in the first 3 months of the year, Bach Hoa Xanh opened 232 new stores with more than 50% of the stores concentrated in the Central provinces, in March alone the chain opened 138 new stores. The new stores have an average revenue of 1.2 - 1.5 billion VND/store.

Other chains such as the Avakids mother and baby retail chain achieved revenue of 313 billion VND, an increase of about 10%, and the online channel accounted for more than 50% of total revenue.

EraBlue , a retail chain in Indonesia, brought in nearly VND700 billion in revenue with 95 stores.

An Khang pharmacy chain achieved 515 billion VND in revenue and is on track to reach break-even point.

As of the end of March 2025, Mobile World has a total of 2,002 Bach Hoa Xanh stores, 1,017 Mobile World stores (including Topzone), 2,027 Dien May Xanh stores, 326 An Khang pharmacies, 62 Avakids stores and 95 EraBlue shops.

In the company's annual report   Mobile World Investment (MWG) has just announced that Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai, Chairman of the Board of Directors, emphasized that he does not pursue quantity but focuses on quality, core values ​​and is truly useful to customers.
