Entertainment "universe" inspired by water puppetry

As one of the five major parks of the "1,001 amenities" resort city Sun Urban City, Sun World Park (including Sun World Water Park and Wonder Land indoor park) marks the first time Sun Group has brought a 24/7 entertainment complex.

The golden age of water puppetry is recreated in a modern space.

Not only creating a "universe" of entertainment day and night, in the Sun World water park, Sun Group also aims to honor water puppetry - an art form that had a "golden" past in Noi Roi village, Ly Nhan, Ha Nam.

Legend has it that at the beginning of the last century, in Ha Nam, a puppet troupe was once bustling with activity. Every year, a village festival would be held, the most exciting being the puppet show at the communal house pond. The name Noi Roi village was also born from that time, with "Noi" from the old village name (Phu Noi) and "Roi" from water puppetry.

Water puppetry is the main inspiration of the park.

Water puppetry is the embodiment of Northern folk culture and a "living history book" of the culture of the Red River Delta. "In the past, water puppetry was an indispensable spiritual food in many festivals. Reviving the Vietnamese spirit of this art form in contemporary entertainment life is our goal when developing Sun World Ha Nam water park," said a representative of Sun Group.

Accordingly, the typical traditional images, stories and puppet plays will be cleverly incorporated by the team of architects into the games and landscapes in the park.

For example, the image of Thuy Dinh with the basic structure of the Northern communal house roof combined with flags, fans... surrounded by banyan trees, brick yards, areca trees... miniature landscapes are typical characters of the boat racing play will be integrated in the wave pool area, creating a modern complex but still very Vietnamese.

Northern cultural flow is breathed into every corner of the landscape.

Or the characteristics of puppet shows such as the Four Sacred Animals, Fox and Duck Fighting, Fairy Dance... become the theme throughout the game areas, lazy river, children's channel... Meanwhile, the typical architecture of the Northern countryside market stalls will be restored at kiosks, food courts... Up to now, with the rapid construction progress, the first items of the park have gradually taken shape. According to the representative of the construction contractor, by the end of January 2025, the total completed volume of the games is about 95% of the rough part, 65% of the infrastructure, 40% of the mechanical part. Complex 1 and 10 areas have reached about 70% of the mechanical part - completed. All are ready to welcome guests on April 30 this year, before the time of handing over the first apartments to Sun Urban City residents.
