The man was arrested Thursday afternoon and is being held in the Cochise County Jail. The sheriff’s office previously identified the man as Ronald Lee Syvrud, 66, who has several outstanding warrants in Wisconsin.

Mr Trump commented on the threat, saying he was not surprised. "No, I haven't heard that but I'm not too surprised and the reason is because I want to do very bad things to bad people."
This is the latest in a series of threats against candidates ahead of the US election on November 5.
In early August, a Virginia man was charged with threatening Vice President Kamala Harris, Mr. Trump’s Democratic opponent, and a New Hampshire man was arrested in December for threatening to kill Republican presidential candidates.
Previously, in July, as is known, Mr. Trump narrowly escaped death when he was shot past the ear in a failed assassination attempt that injured two others and killed one man.
The US Secret Service has been criticised following the assassination, leading to the resignation of its head. Mr Trump said the US Secret Service made mistakes that they need to learn from in this incident.
