Da Nang is in the top 5 'Destinations that attract returning tourists' in Asia

Da Nang has been named among the top Asian cities with the highest rate of returning visitors for the first time. This vibrant coastal city has officially entered the list of the most attractive destinations in the region.

In the “Return-to-Travel Destinations” ranking recently announced by Agoda, Da Nang is considered the most attractive city in Asia. According to booking data on Agoda in the first 6 months of 2025, Vietnam has risen to third place in the top 5 Asian countries with the highest number of return visitors (after Japan, Thailand and surpassing Malaysia and Indonesia).

Notably, Da Nang has appeared for the first time in the top 10 Asian cities with the highest rate of returning visitors. This vibrant coastal city has officially entered the group of most attractive destinations in Asia, reflecting the growing appeal of Vietnam on the regional tourism map.

The top 5 destinations that tourists return to the most in Vietnam in the first half of this year include Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Phu Quoc. While the three “sea paradises” conquer tourists with fine white sand, clear blue water and warm sunny resorts, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi attract tourists with their vibrant lifestyle, cultural depth and colorful local culinary map, creating a harmonious combination of relaxation and local experiences.

Data from Agoda shows many cases of travelers returning to the same location multiple times in just the first half of the year.

Each location has its own charm, from unique cuisine to vibrant culture, making every journey always have something new to discover.
