Da Nang: Launching a photo contest on Ho Chi Minh's ideology

Implementing Directive No. 42-CT/TW dated January 16, 2025 of the Politburo on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in the work of education on diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality and impartiality", the contest aims to propagate and spread the good traditional moral values ​​of Da Nang people in studying, working, producing, building and defending the Fatherland, contributing to educating and promoting an honest, simple and responsible lifestyle.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang Nguyen Nho Khiem presented the values ​​of diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality in Ho Chi Minh's thought to delegates attending the launching ceremony of the contest.

Chairman of the Danang Union of Literature and Arts Associations Nguyen Nho Khiem believes that the contest will arouse and spread the noble moral values ​​of the ideology of "Diligence, thrift, integrity, uprightness, impartiality" in community life, especially through the perspective of photography art.

At the launching ceremony, photographers also discussed and gave feedback to the organizers about the ideas that deeply contain the spirit of "diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality and selflessness" that they have been recording in daily life.

The Organizing Committee will accept entries from May 19, 2025 to August 9, 2025. Accordingly, the competition will consist of two preliminary and final rounds.

The award structure includes: 1 First Prize worth 10,000,000 VND; 2 Second Prizes worth 8,000,000 VND/prize; 3 Third Prizes worth 6,000,000 VND/prize; 5 Encouragement Prizes worth 2,000,000 VND/prize and 50 outstanding works selected for online exhibition (with certificate, no royalties).

Content - work requirements:

1. Photos reflect real people and real events about practicing "diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality", fighting corruption, waste, and negativity in Da Nang.

2. Single photo or photo set (5-8 photos), color or black and white (single photo cannot be duplicated in a photo set).

3. New works created since January 2025, have never won awards in other competitions, co-authored photos are not accepted.

4. Each author can submit up to 5 works (including single photos and photo series).

Technical requirements:

- JPG/JPEG file, capacity >5MB, size ≥2000x3000px, 300dpi.

- Scanned photos, screenshots, and photos from AI are not accepted.

- Photos must be authentic, not collaged (except panoramas), not added or subtracted to distort reality. Must have original files when requested by the Organizing Committee.
