According to a quick report, at 9:30 a.m. on November 14, at the upstream area about 250 meters from the residential area and the garrison of Ga Ry Border Guard Station ( Da Nang City Border Guard Command), a landslide occurred about 1.5 kilometers long and 200-300 meters wide, burying many houses, causing 3 people to go missing and damaging property, cutting off the inter-village road.

Immediately after the incident, the Da Nang City Military Command mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers; Hung Son Commune militia; Commune Police; Ga Ry Border Guard Station; National Defense Economic Group 207 (Military Region 5); Thanh My Area 2 Defense Command... and motor vehicles to carry out the task. The forces established a command post at the scene, coordinated with local authorities to evacuate 84 households with 314 people in Glao village and 87 households with 350 people in HJun village out of the danger zone; and at the same time, arranged two checkpoints to ensure safety in the landslide area.

Notably, at noon on November 15, the Border Guard working team with sniffer dogs approached the landslide scene. Immediately after arriving, the force quickly deployed professional measures, checked suspicious points, coordinated with on-site search forces to determine the location of the missing victims based on the judgment on the map and in the field.

Forces are continuing to expand the search area, ensuring mobility, and ready to mobilize additional vehicles and forces when required.
