The program is designed as a miniature “city of light,” where technology, creativity, and the university spirit are connected in the same space.

The entire show was powered by a state-of-the-art display system: multi-layered LEDs, laser mapping covering both buildings, segmented visuals, and 360-degree surround sound.

The most meaningful highlight of Sync City is the kick-off ceremony. This is an alternative to the traditional speech. At that moment, representatives from the university leadership and training schools step onto the stage and place their hands on the energy circle in the center. This short but symbolic moment marks the beginning of Sync City – the moment when the spirit of connection between the university and new students is ignited as a promise of companionship throughout the journey ahead.

Shortly afterwards, Phenikaa University held an awards ceremony to honor the valedictorian and salutatorian of the K19 cohort.
The K19 freshman welcoming concert featured many famous singers and guest performers, familiar faces to today's youth such as Low G, Kay Tran, Lamoon, Lyhan, DJ Dino... In particular, the program included performances from talented students of the university, along with faculty, department heads, and the leadership of Phenikaa University. This was a meaningful welcome from Phenikaa to its audience, especially the K19 freshmen who have joined Phenikaa.

For K19, Sync City is more than just a welcome. It marks a new journey – a journey into an environment where each individual is respected, encouraged to be creative, and empowered to think critically and grow.
