Buon Ma Thuot Ward: More than 120 performances compete at the art contest to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day

On the afternoon of November 16, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot ward closed and awarded prizes to the art performance contest celebrating the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025) in the ward.

Attending the closing ceremony of the contest were Vice Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot Ward People's Committee Nguyen Huu Chi; leaders of departments and offices of the ward, teachers and students of educational institutions in the area.

This year’s competition attracted more than 120 entries from 38 schools in the ward with many genres including solo, duet, group singing, and dance. The entries praised the Party, beloved Uncle Ho, love for the homeland, country, the teaching profession, nature, family affection, etc.

After 2 exciting days, at the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Thong Nhat Kindergarten; 2 second prizes to Tu An Kindergarten and Thanh Cong Kindergarten. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes to the units; awarded 17 individual prizes and 17 collective prizes for all categories.

Speaking at the contest, Vice Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot Ward People's Committee Nguyen Huu Chi said that the contest is an opportunity for teachers and students to show their talents and creativity, and at the same time express their deep gratitude to those who have been contributing to the noble cause of educating people.

This is one of the practical activities and emulation movements, contributing to educating the tradition of "Respecting teachers and valuing education" for the young generation, thereby creating a connection between teachers and students, strengthening order and discipline in schools, creating momentum for the education sector of Buon Ma Thuot ward to develop more sustainably in the career of educating people.
