The 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Dak Lak province, period 2025-2030

Authorized by the President, the leaders of Dak Lak province awarded the Second-class Labor Medal to 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.

Attending the Congress were comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor and 450 typical and advanced delegates in various fields.

Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, spoke at the Congress.

Over the past 5 years, Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations of Dak Lak province have thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the Central and provincial directives on emulation and rewards. Regularly leading and directing the implementation of patriotic emulation movements, associated with promoting the Study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, the emulation movement and reward work in the period of 2020-2025 have had positive changes.

Notable emulation movements include: "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas"; "For the poor - No one is left behind"; "The whole country unites, joins hands, and competes to prevent, fight and defeat the Covid-19 pandemic"; "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025"; "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure, practicing thrift, fighting waste"; "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation" and the movement "Digital education for the masses"...

Dak Lak provincial leaders awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to 17 individuals.

Emulation movements have contributed to promoting the average growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the area to about 6.24%/year. Total GRDP (at current prices) in 5 years reached about 913,014 billion VND, an average increase of 11.8%/year; in 2025 it is expected to reach 229,248 billion VND, 1.75 times higher than in 2020. Total mobilized social investment capital in 5 years is estimated at 302,638 billion VND; annual state budget revenue has reached and exceeded the Central level, total balanced state budget revenue in the area in 5 years reached 71,686 billion VND... Cultural and social fields have many positive changes; people's lives have been improved in all aspects; national defense and security have been strengthened and maintained.

Speaking at the Congress, Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements of agencies, units, localities and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement of the province over the past 5 years. He requested all levels, sectors, units, localities and people in the province to continue promoting the patriotic emulation movement in all fields, going into depth and becoming a strong driving force to successfully implement the goals of the Provincial Party Congress Resolution for the 2025-2030 term, bringing Dak Lak and the whole country into a new era of development, richness, civilization, and identity...

Previously, Dak Lak provincial leaders offered incense and visited the provincial martyrs' cemetery.

At the congress, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Dao My launched the patriotic emulation movement for the 2025-2030 period, with the theme "Emulating innovation, creativity, accelerating breakthroughs, bringing Dak Lak and the whole country into a new era of development, prosperity, civilization, and identity".

Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and Provincial People's Committee Chairman Ta Anh Tuan presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

On this occasion, authorized by the President, the leaders of Dak Lak province awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to 5 individuals; awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to 1 collective and 17 individuals; awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to 2 collectives; Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 35 collectives and 112 individuals with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement in the period 2020-2025.
