On the occasion of attending the 47th ASEAN Summit, Party Central Committee Secretary and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung met with Foreign Ministers of many countries.
During the meetings, Minister Le Hoai Trung and the Foreign Ministers of Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and India discussed important orientations in bilateral relations and relations between the two Foreign Ministries to promote the implementation of agreements reached, strengthen cooperation in areas with great potential, go into depth and substance, and contribute to building a united and strong ASEAN Community for peace , stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung also congratulated Cambodia and Thailand on the signing of a Joint Statement between the two Prime Ministers on the results of the meeting in Kuala Lumpur on October 26 to peacefully resolve the border issue, believing that this Statement will create a basis for a long-term peaceful solution.

Minister Le Hoai Trung affirmed that Vietnam is ready to join ASEAN's joint efforts to support the two countries in fully and effectively implementing this Statement.
On this occasion, Minister Le Hoai Trung and the Singaporean Minister signed the Action Program to implement the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries for the 2025-2030 period.
