On the occasion of attending the 47th ASEAN Summit, Party Central Committee Secretary and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung met with the Foreign Ministers of many countries.
During the meetings, Minister Le Hoai Trung, along with the Foreign Ministers of Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and India, exchanged views on important directions in bilateral relations and relations between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs to promote the implementation of agreements reached, strengthen cooperation in areas with great potential, deepen and make more substantive, contributing to building a united and strong ASEAN Community for peace , stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.
Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung also congratulated Cambodia and Thailand on the signing of the Joint Statement between the two Prime Ministers on the results of the meeting in Kuala Lumpur on October 26th aimed at peacefully resolving the border issue, expressing confidence that this Statement will lay the foundation for a lasting peaceful solution.

Minister Le Hoai Trung affirmed that Vietnam is ready to participate in ASEAN's joint efforts to support the two countries in fully and effectively implementing this Declaration.
On this occasion, Minister Le Hoai Trung and the Singaporean Minister signed the Action Program to implement the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries for the period 2025-2030.
