On the evening of October 28th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation arrived at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi , successfully concluding their working trip to attend the 47th ASEAN Summit and related Summits from October 25th to 28th at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

During his three-day stay in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a packed schedule with nearly 50 multilateral and bilateral activities, including attending ASEAN conferences and events, ASEAN meetings with partners, and bilateral meetings with most ASEAN leaders, as well as leaders of ASEAN partner countries and international organizations attending the Conference.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's participation and practical contributions at the 47th ASEAN Summit and related summits demonstrate the strategic importance of ASEAN in Vietnam's foreign policy; further conveying a strong message about Vietnam's proactive and responsible participation and contributions alongside member states in building a united, resilient, inclusive, and sustainable ASEAN Community; while maintaining and strengthening ASEAN's central role and promoting its responsible voice for peace, stability, and development in the region and the world.

In particular, on this occasion, through bilateral meetings between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of various countries and organizations, both sides agreed on new directions for cooperation, meeting the requirements of both sides in the new development phase and in new fields.
The working trip was a great success, contributing to the continued effective implementation of the foreign policy guidelines of the 13th National Party Congress, the Politburo's Conclusion 59-KL/TW on the orientation for participation in ASEAN until 2030, and the Secretariat's Directive 25-CT/TW on strengthening and elevating multilateral diplomacy until 2030, and the Politburo's Resolution 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new situation.
