On the morning of October 30, at the Provincial Cultural Center, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee solemnly organized the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Thai Nguyen province, period 2025 - 2030. This is an important political event, aiming to summarize and evaluate the patriotic emulation movement, commendation work in the period 2020 - 2025; at the same time, commend typical advanced collectives and individuals in all fields.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council Pham Hoang Son emphasized: The 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Thai Nguyen province, period 2025 - 2030, was held in a vibrant emulation atmosphere to welcome the success of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, towards the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress and the 14th National Congress of the Party. Over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement in the province has been deployed synchronously, spread widely, creating a strong driving force to promote socio-economic development, maintain national defense and security, and improve people's lives. From the emulation movements, many outstanding collectives and individuals have emerged, beautiful flowers in the flower garden of "thousands of good deeds" of Thai Nguyen province.

With the theme "Solidarity, democracy, innovation, creativity, emulation to build Thai Nguyen province to develop rapidly and sustainably", the Congress is an opportunity to summarize and honor advanced models and propose directions and solutions to continue promoting the emulation movement, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development goals for the period 2025 - 2030.

Advanced models exchanged at the Congress

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the patriotic emulation movement of Thai Nguyen province was widely deployed, making an important contribution to promoting socio-economic development, maintaining security and defense, and improving people's lives. Typical movements include: "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "For the poor - No one is left behind", "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025", "Cadres, civil servants and public employees compete to practice office culture", "Promoting innovation and digital transformation"...

Authorized by the President, comrade Do Van Chien awarded the Labor Medal to collectives and individuals.

The province's economy maintained an average growth of 7.3% per year, GRDP reached more than 202,900 billion VND, budget revenue increased 1.7 times compared to 2020. Social security, education, health, culture, and administrative reform achieved many outstanding results; the poverty rate decreased by an average of 1.41% per year. Many collectives and individuals were awarded at the State and provincial levels...
In the period of 2025 - 2030, Thai Nguyen province continues to promote the spirit of patriotic emulation, innovate the content and methods of organizing movements, build a team of advanced models, contributing to the successful implementation of comprehensive and sustainable development goals.

Comrade Do Van Chien delivered a congratulatory speech and directed the Congress.

In his congratulatory and directive speech at the Congress, Comrade Do Van Chien requested Party committees at all levels, the government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province to continue to thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation; effectively implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State in this field. He requested the province to focus on launching practical emulation movements, associated with promoting creativity, endogenous strength and mobilizing all resources for development; putting the interests of the People, the nation and the people above all. Along with that, it is necessary to promote key emulation movements associated with the province's strategic development goals; considering emulation results and effectiveness as important criteria to evaluate the capacity of cadres and party members.

He also noted the effective implementation of national emulation movements such as: "Innovation and digital transformation", "Building new rural areas", "For the poor - No one is left behind"... At the same time, continue to innovate and improve the quality of commendation work, ensuring publicity, timeliness and substance; pay more attention to commending direct workers, people in remote areas and individuals who have made many contributions to the patriotic emulation movement.

On behalf of the leaders of Thai Nguyen province, Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, respectfully thanked and accepted the guidance of Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The Provincial Party Secretary also commended the comprehensive results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of the province in the period of 2020 - 2025. At the same time, he emphasized that the patriotic emulation movements have created an important driving force to promote socio-economic development, strengthen the great national unity bloc, contribute to improving people's lives and strengthening people's trust in the Party and government.

At the Congress, the Party and State also presented many noble awards to 70 outstanding collectives and individuals with many contributions to patriotic emulation movements in the 2020 - 2025 period, affirming Thai Nguyen's position as the leading province in the midland and Red River Delta.
