50,000 books from Kim Dong Publishing House, Women's Publishing House, Thai Ha Book Company, Long Minh Company were present at the "Welcome Summer Book Fair 2015" held at West Lake Park, Hanoi. Along with introducing new editions, the publishing units brought a "book feast" for parents and children with preferential prices up to 50%, books priced from 5,000 VND.
The book fair takes place on May 16 and 17, starting from 8am to 5pm with many interesting activities, such as games for children from 9am to 11am on May 16; from 4pm to 5:30pm, teacher Nguyen Quoc Hung will talk about the English Grammar book series.
On May 17, starting at 9am, parents can join a conversation with experts on interactive family education methods, and from 4pm, children can participate in games. Tickets to the festival are distributed free of charge at bookstores of publishers and companies participating in the above book fair.
Watch Oscar movies for free
13 films from 13 countries create a "feast" of cinema at this year's European Film Festival. Audiences can choose films according to theme, age and appropriate screening time. Parents and young audiences can enjoy the film Finn from the Netherlands and To see the sea from the Czech Republic. There are two films for audiences over 16 years old: Rise up! And Dance , about a boy and a girl who love to dance and their first love, and Requiem, a story deeply embedded with the cruelty of war.
The films will be screened at the National Cinema Center (87 Lang Ha, Dong Da District, Hanoi), from May 15 to 30. Tickets will be distributed free of charge at the European Union Delegation to Vietnam (24th floor, Lotte Building) from 9:30 to 10:30, 14:00 to 16:00 daily; at the National Cinema Center from 15:00, Goethe Institute, British Council (during office hours). Tickets will be distributed until sold out, so before coming to receive tickets, audiences should call each location to check information. Each person can receive 1 pair of tickets.
