On the morning of December 17th, in Nam Nha Trang ward, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Provincial Police headquarters. Attending the ceremony were Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, General Luong Tam Quang, along with leaders of various departments under the Ministry of Public Security.

On the local side, there were leaders from the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department, and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Huu Phuoc, Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, emphasized that the groundbreaking ceremony for the new headquarters is a particularly important milestone, demonstrating the profound concern of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, the Ministry of Public Security , as well as the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee of Khanh Hoa for the provincial police force.

The new headquarters of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department is being built on an area of approximately 9 hectares, with a total investment of over 900 billion VND. The project was approved by the Minister of Public Security in Decision No. 7332/QD-BCA-H02 dated August 25, 2025, classified as Group B, meeting the working needs of nearly 1,300 officers and soldiers. Upon completion and commissioning, the building will become a solid command center, a new symbol of the strength of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police force, and contribute to affirming the province's development in the new era.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, Tran Phong, stated that throughout the province's development, the provincial police force has always played a core role in protecting political security, maintaining social order and safety, and proactively advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on many correct and timely policies and solutions, ensuring absolute safety for political, cultural, and social events, activities of Party and State leaders, and domestic and international delegations visiting Khanh Hoa. This has contributed to maintaining a stable and safe environment, creating a solid foundation for socio-economic development, attracting investment, and expanding cooperation.

“In the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province are committed to continuing to accompany, care for, and support the Provincial Police in investing in the comprehensive completion of all items according to the approved plan, creating all favorable conditions for the project to be completed soon and put into effective use, thereby motivating and encouraging officers and soldiers of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police to excellently fulfill the tasks entrusted by the Party, the State, and the people,” Comrade Tran Phong emphasized.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, stated that the groundbreaking ceremony for the command center and headquarters of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police took place in the context of the whole country striving to achieve outstanding results to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. This was also a time when many key national projects were being launched and inaugurated, creating an important foundation for the country to enter a new phase of development.
