Reporting to voters on the results of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, the representative of the Binh Duong National Assembly delegation said that after 35 days of working responsibly and with high determination, the 9th Session had completed all the contents of the proposed program. During this session, the National Assembly considered and approved the Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Constitution; passed 34 laws and 13 legal resolutions, and gave opinions on six other draft laws. The National Assembly also considered and decided on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, shortening the term of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; and a number of other important contents.

At the meeting, voters of Bau Bang district expressed their excitement and agreement with the major policies of the Party and State, creating a solid foundation for the country's development in the new period, including adjusting administrative boundaries, merging Binh Duong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces into Ho Chi Minh City; the policy of arranging and streamlining the State apparatus. Many voters expressed their interest in the work of arranging cadres and organizing the operation of local governments at two levels; at the same time, they hoped that the work of cadres must be done carefully and seriously to select and arrange cadres, civil servants and public employees with capacity, ethics, who know how to listen to the people, dare to think, dare to do.

Voters also expressed concerns and frustrations about a number of social issues of concern such as: the production, sale and advertising of counterfeit goods; issues related to living conditions, ensuring health care for the people, developing transport infrastructure, planning and land management, etc.
Speaking at the conference, General Nguyen Tan Cuong further informed voters about the results of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the major policies and guidelines of the Party and State that are being implemented; adjusting the organization of the Army to be lean, compact, and strong, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation; at the same time, he further informed voters about the world and regional situation; some outstanding results in the implementation of military and defense tasks in the past time. General Nguyen Tan Cuong thanked voters for their frank and enthusiastic comments; at the same time, he answered some issues within his authority that voters were interested in.

Also at the conference, Bau Bang district leaders answered voters’ concerns within the local authority. District leaders hope that voters will continue to pay attention, follow, propose and give advice to the authorities in socio-economic development.

On the same morning, General Nguyen Tan Cuong and the delegation presented funding to support the construction of 5 gratitude houses, 10 solidarity houses and 200 gifts to policy families and families in difficult circumstances in Binh Duong province.
