Captain Luong Nguyet Anh and Bao Thanh bring glory to their hometown Bac Giang

Bao Thanh

Born in 1990 in Lang Giang, Bac Giang, Bao Thanh's real name is Vu Thi Phuong Thanh. After graduating from Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema, she worked at the Youth Theater and was loved by the audience for her natural, emotional acting.

Bao Thanh's career flourished with impressive roles in many popular TV series such as: Living with Mother-in-law (as Minh Van), Going Home (as Anh Thu)... She achieved great success when she won the Best Actress award at the Golden Kite 2017 and VTV Awards 2019.

In 2024, although she has not acted in a new film for 5 years, she was still honored in the list of 10 Outstanding Young Faces of the Capital , proving her influence in the art world. Currently, Bao Thanh balances her career and a happy family life with her husband and 2 children, often sharing lovely everyday moments on social networks. Besides, she is choosing a script with a new role for her next TV series project.

Manh Hung

Manh Hung's real name is Nguyen Manh Hung, born in 1986 in Bac Giang , currently working at Group 2, Hanoi Drama Theater. He graduated with a degree in Information Technology before pursuing his passion for acting. It was not until his second attempt that Manh Hung was admitted to the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema, opening up a promising artistic journey.

Manh Hung is famous for his villainous roles, characters with complex personalities. His career took off after his role as Cong Danh in Marriage in a Narrow Alley , which brought him the Best TV Actor award at the 2015 Green Star Awards. Many viewers still clearly remember his image as the effeminate Hai "bong" in Sunflower Against the Sun , or the abusive husband Hoan in The Flower Season to Find Again.

"I don't mind being labeled a bad boy, it's a success when the audience remembers me," Manh Hung once shared. He always carefully studies the character's psychology and plays the role realistically. The actor also made an impression in many other works such as Going Through a Stormy Day, Let the Wind Take You Away, The Bi Bi Will and Rose on the Left Chest.

Contrary to his villainous image on screen, Manh Hung is quite secretive about his personal life. At the end of 2023, Manh Hung first publicly posted a photo of his beautiful girlfriend on his personal page but did not share more about his other half.

Luong Nguyet Anh

Luong Nguyet Anh was born in 1990 in Luc Ngan, Bac Giang. She is a prominent artist of Vietnamese folk music and a vocal lecturer at the Military University of Culture and Arts with the rank of Captain.

Her musical talent was revealed early when she won first prize in a singing contest in Bac Giang province at the age of 4. Coming from a family with a tradition of art, Luong Nguyet Anh spent 14 years studying excellently at the Vietnam National Academy of Music from intermediate to graduate level, always being the valedictorian.

Luong Nguyet Anh is a Captain, a vocal instructor, possessing a colorful voice from folk to revolutionary songs.

Her career really shined when she won the first prize of Sao Mai 2011 in the folk music category, being the only singer to hold the top position in every round of the competition. Her diverse musical styles from Northern, Central, Southern folk to revolutionary and lyrical music helped Luong Nguyet Anh conquer the audience with albums such as: Bo song van gio, Cau hat nguoi thuong and many outstanding MVs. In 2017, she represented Vietnam at the Asia-Pacific Television Music Festival and won the Excellence Award.

With the mission of an artist-soldier, she brings pride when performing revolutionary music and participating in major cultural events. In 2024, Luong Nguyet Anh won a Gold Medal at the National Music Festival with the song Thuong nguoi linh dao Truong Sa.

She is currently single, focusing on music and teaching, guiding students in researching and performing folk songs from the Northern mountainous region.
