In recent days, the atmosphere in Ho Chi Minh City has been "as joyful as Tet" as people from all over the city gathered at the Independence Palace and many areas such as Bach Dang Wharf, Tao Dan Park, Hoa Lu Stadium, Le Van Tam Park... to watch the rehearsal of the parade to celebrate the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
Besides 56 main forces, more than 50 outstanding artists and athletes were honored to participate in the parade.
Sharing with reporters of the Vietnam Law Newspaper after the preliminary rehearsal of the State-level parade on the evening of April 25, director Hoang Nhat Nam said: "I feel proud to walk on Le Duan Street, joining in the "national concert". I am proud to be Vietnamese and to walk on the roads of peace today. Every time the "National Anthem" or the marching music plays, I am moved because that road was paved with the blood and sacrifice of our ancestors".
