Kinh Mon Town Party Committee will organize a model congress of the grassroots Party Committee.

Over the past years, the Party Committee, government and people of the town have strived to achieve comprehensive and outstanding results. On the evening of December 20, Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Xuan Dung presented the decision to recognize Kinh Mon town as a type III urban area.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Kinh Mon Town Party Committee to prepare and organize the Town Party Congress on time and according to the requirements set out in the Provincial Party Committee's direction plan.

Closely coordinate with advisory agencies and assist the Provincial Party Committee in advising the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in directing the preparation and organization of the congress, preparing content and organizing conferences to evaluate and draw experience in directing the model congress immediately after the end of the congress.

According to the plan to organize grassroots and upper-level party congresses, towards the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the upper-level party congress will not exceed 3 days, starting from June 2025, to be completed before August 31, 2025. The district-level party committee selected for the model congress will hold the congress in early May 2025.

Kinh Mon Town Party Committee currently has 58 grassroots party organizations, including 22 commune and ward party committees; 36 party cells and party committees directly under the Town Party Committee with 8,455 party members.

Over the past 5 years, the rate of grassroots party organizations completing their annual tasks well of Kinh Mon Party Committee has reached over 89%, exceeding the set target (target: 80%); over 90% of party members are assessed to have completed their tasks well. Party member recruitment work has met and exceeded the set target. From 2021 to present, Kinh Mon Town Party Committee has been classified as having completed its tasks well.

Over the past years, the Party Committee, government and people of the town have strived to implement and achieve comprehensive and outstanding results.

Kinh Mon town has been recognized as a type III urban area and has just received the Second Class Labor Medal.
