Extinguishing pine forest fire in Lam Dong

Deputy Head of Dai Ninh Forest Protection Management Board Vuong Anh Dung said that at the time of the fire, the unit coordinated with Duc Trong District Forest Protection Department and relevant agencies and local people to approach the scene and organize forest fire fighting. By 8:00 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically extinguished.

According to Mr. Dung, the burned forest area is a decades-old three-leaf pine forest, about 3,000 square meters wide. The fire burned the grass and shrubs under the forest canopy, but did not affect the three-leaf pine. This is a forest area managed by the Dai Ninh Protective Forest Management Board.
