Therefore, the unit focuses on preparing soldiers with a strong mentality through propaganda activities, disseminating experiences, educating, motivating ideology, and building determination, such as: Organizing and launching emulation campaigns and movements such as “Good study hours, good training grounds”, “Good teachers, hard-working soldiers”...

In particular, since the beginning of the year, the unit has developed a systematic and scientific “3-bang” training plan, focusing on training in the right method, sequentially from low to high, from simple to complex, from technique to tactics. CSMs are thoroughly trained in shooting postures, movement principles, how to adjust the line of sight, control the trigger, and hold the gun in the correct position to ensure high accuracy.

Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Khanh, Captain of Company 9, Battalion 3, Regiment 246, shared: “Before entering the official test, the units organized a test of all 3 contents to evaluate the level of completion of each soldier, each squad, promptly detect weak points, missing steps to supplement and practice more. At the same time, through the test, the CSMs get acquainted with the reality of the shooting range, and their mentality is trained more firmly. After each test, the unit organizes to draw experience and commend and encourage the determination of the CSMs.”

Training facilities are also an important condition to improve the quality of the "3-explosion" test. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen The Trung, Deputy Regiment Commander, Chief of Staff of Regiment 246, shared his experience: "To achieve high results in CSM training, the unit proactively invests and consolidates the training ground according to the correct standards, ensuring safety. Models and training tools are fully prepared, close to reality, such as hidden targets, running targets, explosive block models, grenade models, and training guns. In addition, the unit strictly maintains the training plan and schedule but makes appropriate adjustments according to the weather; organizes inspections and evaluates training results according to each exercise, training session and increases sports and competitions... Thereby, improving the quality of CSM training through each training content and category, helping soldiers to be confident and proficient in movements and essentials is increasingly improved".

Sharing about the learning and training process at the unit through 3 months of CSM training, Private Truong Ngoc Hung, Company 9, Battalion 3, Regiment 246, said: “Throwing grenades is one of the difficult contents, requiring courage, technique and health. Although I have watched supplementary videos and thrown real grenades; received very specific training from the training staff and regularly practiced and corrected each movement... but when I entered the practical test, I still felt nervous. At that time, I told myself to stay calm, perform the movements correctly to achieve good results”.

With a serious, strict, and systematic training process; careful preparation for testing and strengthening of bravery, building high determination for CSM, Regiment 246 successfully completed the "3 explosions" test: Shooting results were good, explosives and grenade throwing were good; the unit ensured absolute safety.
