Proposal to recognize 7 communes meeting the standards of new rural areas in Ha Tinh

The appraisal council discussed, voted, and proposed to recognize 7 communes meeting the standards of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas in the second phase, 2023.

On the afternoon of January 11, comrade Nguyen Hong Linh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for National Target Programs and Civilized Urban Construction of the province - Chairman of the Appraisal Council, proposed to recognize communes meeting new rural standards (NTM), communes meeting advanced NTM standards, communes meeting model NTM standards, period 2022 - 2025 and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Tran Nhat Tan chaired the meeting, discussed, voted to consider, proposed to recognize communes meeting NTM standards, communes meeting advanced NTM standards, communes meeting model NTM standards in the second phase of 2023.

Deputy Chief of the Provincial Office of New Rural Areas Ngo Dinh Long reported on the summary of appraisal results for communes proposed for recognition as meeting new rural, advanced new rural, and model new rural standards in the second phase, 2023.

According to the summary report of the second round of appraisal results in 2023, there are 10 communes proposed for recognition of meeting the standards of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas.

In particular, it is proposed that 2 communes Ha Linh and Dien My (Huong Khe district) meet the new rural standards; 4 communes Cam Quan (Cam Xuyen district), Ky Hai (Ky Anh district), Xuan Yen, Xuan Hai (Nghi Xuan district) meet the advanced new rural standards; communes Cam Thanh (Cam Xuyen district), Thach Dai (Thach Ha district), Thach Chau (Loc Ha district) and Xuan Pho (Nghi Xuan district) meet the model new rural standards.

Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Tran Nhat Tan spoke at the meeting.

According to the assessment of departments, branches and professional units, the two communes of Ha Linh and Dien My met 20/20 criteria, had no outstanding debts in basic construction, had a guaranteed rate of people's satisfaction, and were eligible to be submitted to the Council for voting and recognition of meeting NTM standards.

Cam Quan communes (Cam Xuyen district) and Ky Hai communes (Ky Anh district) fully meet the standards, have no outstanding debts in basic construction, have guaranteed people's satisfaction rates, and are eligible to be submitted to the Council for voting and recognition as meeting advanced NTM standards.

Cam Thanh communes (Cam Xuyen district), Thach Dai (Thach Ha district) and Thach Chau (Loc Ha district) are eligible to be submitted to the Council for voting and recognition as meeting model new-style rural standards.

The remaining localities basically completed the task.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and evaluated in detail the results and conditions of the localities and voted.

The council proceeded to vote.

As a result, the Council proposed that the Provincial People's Committee recognize 7 communes meeting the standards of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas in the second phase, 2023, with a rate of 100%.

Accordingly, Ha Linh and Dien My communes (Huong Khe district) meet the new rural standards; Cam Quan communes (Cam Xuyen district) and Ky Hai communes (Ky Anh district) meet the advanced new rural standards; Cam Thanh communes (Cam Xuyen district), Thach Dai communes (Thach Ha district) and Thach Chau communes (Loc Ha district) meet the model new rural standards.
