The project is chaired by Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Director of the Institute of Economics and Culture, and will be carried out over a period of 30 months (from January 2022 to May 2024).


Provincial Science and Technology Council viewed the project's tourist map product.

The topic focuses on analyzing and evaluating the current status and potential of tourism resources, markets, products, planning, and tourism development linkages in the provinces of the Viet Bac War Zone; developing groups of tourism development solutions; building a number of tourism development models associated with preserving revolutionary historical relics, promoting the cultural values of ethnic minority communities, and the ecological beauty of the Viet Bac War Zone.

The tourism models are expected to be built to meet the needs of sightseeing, learning about the historical, cultural and human values of the Viet Bac War Zone, especially the origins of the national revolution, and contributingto educating traditions, patriotism and national pride. At the same time, 3 tourism map systems have been compiled, including: Tourism resource assessment map; map of infrastructure, technical facilities serving tourism; map of routes, destinations and tourism products.

The project was evaluated and classified as excellent by the acceptance council.
