The exam requirements aim to assess mathematical abilities such as mathematical thinking and reasoning, mathematical problem solving, and mathematical modeling.

Leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City informed the structure of the 10th grade math exam as follows:
Lesson 1. (1.5 points) Given the function y = ax 2
a) Draw the graph (P) of the above function.
b) Find the points belonging to (P) that satisfy the given conditions.

The 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City took place on June 6 and 7 with three subjects: literature, math and foreign language.
In which, literature and math have 120 minutes/subject; foreign language 90 minutes. Candidates taking specialized/integrated exams will have an additional 150-minute exam.
