According to information from Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel and Iran, so far there have been no recorded casualties among Vietnamese citizens in these locations.
Faced with the current complicated and escalating developments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continuously updates the situation, directs and coordinates Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel, Iran, and neighboring areas to closely coordinate with local authorities, diplomatic missions, and international organizations to exchange, connect, and carry out measures to evacuate citizens from war zones and dangerous areas.
As of June 22, 2025, the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran has coordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation to bring 18 Vietnamese citizens in Iran to a third country and return home safely. The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has closely coordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt to bring 33 Vietnamese citizens out of Israel safely and some citizens have returned home.
For citizens currently staying in Israel and Iran, Vietnamese representative agencies in these areas continue to recommend that citizens move to safe areas or go to a third country to return to Vietnam.
During this time, Vietnamese representative agencies in the host country always keep in touch, connect, and synthesize the needs and aspirations of citizens to coordinate with domestic authorities to be ready to deploy appropriate support and evacuation plans for citizens in the coming days.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel and Iran to continue to closely follow local work requirements, maintain close contact with local citizens, and regularly advise citizens to remain calm, vigilant, strictly comply with regulations, instructions, and ensure security and safety of local authorities, while closely monitoring warnings from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran and Israel.
