Sharing about the schedule for announcing the benchmark scores for entering grade 10 in Tien Giang in 2024 with Dan Viet Newspaper reporter, Mr. Le Ngoc Linh, Head of the Department of Examination andEducation Quality Assessment, Tien Giang Department of Education and Training, said: "Implementing the high school admission plan for the 2024-2025 school year, on June 15, the Department of Education and Training announced the test scores in the High School Entrance Exam to schools via email and announced them on the Department of Education and Training website at http://tc.tiengiang.edu.vn.

Candidates only need to enter accurate information, click "Search" to see the results. The Department also sends transcripts (paper copies) to schools to receive at the Department of Education and Training on the afternoon of June 17. Currently, the Department has not announced the benchmark scores because it is waiting for the exam review."

Regarding the reason for not announcing the benchmark scores for grade 10 in Tien Giang in 2024, Mr. Linh said: "The Tien Giang Department of Education and Training will receive applications for review of exam papers until 5:00 p.m. on June 20. After receiving the review scores, the Department will hold a meeting with the schools to agree on the benchmark scores. It is expected that this year's benchmark scores will be announced on July 15 in two forms: at high schools and on the Department's website."

Predicted benchmark scores for grade 10 in Tien Giang in 2024

According to the leader of the Tien Giang Department of Education and Training, the assessment of the 10th grade entrance exam marking council this year, the exam questions in the subjects are suitable for the candidates, the subjects are gradually oriented towards promoting the candidates' abilities, creativity, and individual thinking. The average scores of the 10th grade exam subjects are all above average. The number of exams with good scores increased, the number of exams with poor scores decreased compared to previous years. Of which, the rate of achieving average scores or higher in Literature (86.95%), with 11 candidates achieving 10 points; in English, 71.68% of candidates achieved above average scores, with 312 candidates achieving 10 points; in Math, 74.07% of candidates achieved above average scores, with 394 candidates achieving 10 points.

The average score of candidates is mainly from 7 to 8 points. However, through grading, there are still exams with a score of 0, such as in Literature, there are 6 exams with a score of 0; in Math, there are 7 exams with a score of 0.

The predicted benchmark scores for grade 10 in Tien Giang in 2024 are not too different from previous years. Schools with high benchmark scores in the locality are Nguyen Dinh Chieu High School, Cho Gao High School, Truong Dinh High School...
