The forum was attended by nearly 300 delegates, including leaders of several ministries, sectors, businesses, and Romanian trade promotion organizations; the Embassy and Trade Office of Vietnam in Romania and several other European countries; overseas Vietnamese businesses from 19 European countries and several domestic businesses.
Speaking at the opening session, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Romania Do Duc Thanh emphasized the important role of association activities of Vietnamese people in European countries in activities for the benefit of the community, contributing to building friendship and organizing activities for the community.
At the same time, he expressed his hope that the Forum, with the overarching theme "What opportunities for Romania - a dynamic country in Europe" will have specific and practical exchanges to coordinate actions between Vietnamese businesses in Europe in the Romanian market, a country with a strategic position in Southeast Europe and the Black Sea, with rich resources, a population of more than 20 million people, a market with great potential for development, especially in agriculture , forestry and services, thereby promoting investment and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Europe.
The Ambassador said that this is in line with the policy of strengthening and consolidating traditional friendship with Southeast European countries, an important message of General Secretary To Lam 's official visit to the Republic of Bulgaria, which had just ended successfully the day before.

Attending the Forum, Vice President of the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Octavian Stocklosa said that attending the Forum was an honor for him because this was an opportunity to listen to influential voices from the Vietnamese business community, contributing to opening up opportunities for cooperation and dialogue between the Vietnamese and European business communities.
At the same time, Mr. Octavian Stocklosa affirmed the strong commitment of both sides in promoting economic and social cooperation, as well as building a framework for dialogue and concrete actions, strengthening the traditional friendship and cooperation between Romania and Vietnam.

Revolving around three main topics: “Investment and business opportunities in Romania”, “Generation transfer in the Vietnamese business community in Europe”, “Connecting and supporting young businesses”, the delegates focused on discussing many issues such as the DNNET.eu project and projects supporting the Vietnamese business community in Europe; an overview of the model of the Vietnamese Trade Center in Romania in the current period; the possibility of building a Vietnamese Trade Center in Romania; opportunities and barriers in investment of overseas Vietnamese in Europe in Vietnam…
In particular, this year's European Business Forum recorded the large participation of young businesses, representing the second generation of the Vietnamese community in Eastern European countries.
Young entrepreneurs who have initially achieved success here, such as We Love PHO, Lighthouse Collective, PQ Technologies... operating in the fields of health care, beauty care, AI technology... have excellently presented projects connecting young entrepreneurs, bringing a lively and inspiring atmosphere to the Forum and being a success beyond the expectations of the organizers.

On October 26, the Forum continued with sightseeing activities to explore the country and people of Romania, and golf exchange activities organized by the European Vietnamese Golf Association (EVGA).

Previously, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Romania diplomatic relations and within the framework of the Forum's activities, on October 24, the Vietnamese Embassy in Romania organized the "Vietnam-Romania Business Connection Seminar" with the participation of delegates from the Romania-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Group, the Romanian Investment and Trade Agency (ARICE), the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and more than 30 Romanian businesses operating in various fields such as import-export, aviation (Qatar Air), technology, manufacturing, garment, automobile (Dacia) and other supporting industries.

At the seminar, delegates were provided with updated and useful information about the market and investment and business environment in Vietnam and Romania, helping businesses better understand the potential for bilateral cooperation in the context of the strong development of the relationship between the two countries; a valuable opportunity to connect, exchange, find partners and open up new business cooperation opportunities between entrepreneurs and investors of the two countries.

The forum was a great success, arousing solidarity, national pride and responsibility of the overseas Vietnamese business community in Europe in contributing to promoting economic, trade and investment relations between Vietnam and Europe.
