More than 10,000 people from the army, police, militia, and people's representatives participated in a preliminary parade on Le Duan Street, in front of the Independence Palace (District 1) to prepare for the upcoming State-level rehearsal on April 27 (from 7am to 12pm).
At exactly 8:00 p.m., a preliminary rehearsal of the welcome performance and the ceremonial and ceremonial contents took place. At 9:00 p.m., the parade and marching program, managed by the Ministry of National Defense, officially began.
According to the plan, the parade blocks started from Nguyen Binh Khiem intersection towards Thong Nhat Hall. Then they divided into 4 directions towards the assembly location at Tao Dan park, Bach Dang wharf park, Hoa Lu stadium and Le Van Tam park.
Before entering the stage, the formation of the blocks changed steps according to the command, from marching to standing, creating uniform, decisive steps and expressing the solemn, heroic atmosphere of the parade.
The parade blocks include: 23 army and militia blocks; 12 police force blocks; 12 mass parade blocks; 4 ceremonial blocks and 3 army blocks of other countries (China, Laos, Cambodia).
Standing on both sides of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street (District 1), people sang, cheered and waved in unison as the parades passed by.
Ms. Ngan (55 years old, in Binh Duong ) emotionally said: "This is an opportunity that I think no Vietnamese person wants to miss, because everyone wants to witness the proud moment of the country. I am very happy, proud and excited to admire the performance of the parade groups today."
