Mobilizing teachers to teach in different schools, eliminating the situation of stopping subjects

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Lang Chanh district (Thanh Hoa), the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training in Official Dispatch No. 5512 of 2020 on the development and implementation of the school's education plan requires schools to proactively arrange the time to implement the program to ensure scientific and pedagogical principles, not requiring the subject to be taught in all weeks, not requiring the number of periods/week to be divided equally to effectively use the school's facilities and teachers and staff.

"Regarding some schools in the district that lack teachers, they cannot teach some subjects. Up to now, the People's Committee of Lang Chanh district has mobilized teachers to teach inter-school and increase teaching hours so that all schools that do not have teachers to teach specific subjects can ensure that 100% of students can study according to regulations.

The reason for not being able to teach some specific subjects is that in the 2024-2025 school year, the whole district is still short of 92 positions compared to the number assigned by the province. According to the contract under Decree 111 of the Government , the province assigned the district 58 quotas but has not yet recruited enough, due to lack of resources" - Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son informed.

Previously, Tien Phong newspaper reported that since the beginning of the school year, many schools in mountainous districts of Thanh Hoa have not been able to arrange teaching of English, Information Technology, and Music due to lack of teachers. After receiving the report, Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Dau Thanh Tung directed and assigned the Department of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to inspect and verify to have a solution to ensure legal regulations and in accordance with the current situation.
