Before the opening match of SEA Games 33 against U22 Laos, striker Dinh Bac expressed his high confidence, he said: " U22 Vietnam is very excited and determined. It's hard to say anything in advance, but we will try our best to have a good start."

When asked about the 3-0 victory of U23 Vietnam over U23 Laos in the opening match of the U23 Southeast Asian Championship last July, Dinh Bac emphasized: “Each tournament is a different story. The teams in the region are all improving, so tomorrow’s match will definitely not be easy. We must concentrate to get the desired result.”

Before participating in SEA Games 33, Dinh Bac scored an important goal to help CAHN advance to AFC Champions League Two. The striker born in 2004 said: "That goal gave me great motivation before joining U22 Vietnam. It came at the right time and gave me more confidence."

According to the original plan, Dinh Bac and Minh Phuc would only join U22 Vietnam after finishing the match between CAHN and Buriram in the Southeast Asian Club Cup 2025/26 (December 3), however, he was allowed by coach Polking to join his teammates early in the SEA Games 33 campaign.

"I told CAHN coach Mano Polking that this is my first SEA Games, and fans are really looking forward to this tournament. I hope he understands and creates conditions for me to have the best time to integrate. Luckily, everything went smoothly," Dinh Bac revealed.
