Delegation from Guangdong province (China) visited and worked in Tay Ninh

On the morning of October 31, 2025, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam chaired a reception and paid a courtesy visit to the working delegation of the Government of Guangdong Province (China) led by Mr. Tri Ve Quoc - Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen City Commerce Department. Also attending the reception were representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors of Tay Ninh province and members of the working delegation of Guangdong province.

Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of Guangdong province to visit and work in Tay Ninh , and affirmed that the visit is a vivid demonstration of the traditional friendship and increasingly deep cooperation between localities of Vietnam and China, contributing practically to promoting the Vietnam - China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged information on the socio -economic development situation, investment environment and cooperation orientation in the coming time. Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh Lam said that Tay Ninh is currently one of the localities with high growth rates in the Southeast region, with GRDP in the first 9 months of 2025 estimated at 9.52%, leading the region and ranking 8th in the country. The whole province currently has 47 industrial parks, 50 industrial clusters, and more than 1,000 hectares of clean land ready to receive investors. Tay Ninh currently has over 1,800 foreign investment projects with a total capital of more than 24 billion   USD, in which China is the leading country in terms of quantity and investment capital, with 421 projects, total capital of nearly 5.9 billion USD.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh Lam emphasized that Tay Ninh wishes to promote cooperation with Guangdong in many fields , especially: investment in supporting industries, clean energy, logistics, agricultural processing; science - technology, digital transformation, smart cities; education , culture and tourism ; development of logistics infrastructure, connecting trade in the ASEAN region.

Tay Ninh commits to creating the most transparent, stable and favorable investment environment for Guangdong investors; at the same time, it wishes to increase delegation exchanges, learn from experiences, organize staff training courses, promote trade and cultural and tourism exchanges between the two localities.

Deputy Director of the Shenzhen City Commerce Bureau, Guangdong Province Chi Weiguo spoke at the meeting.

On behalf of the delegation, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Municipal Commerce Bureau, Guangdong Province Chi Weiguo thanked the leaders of Tay Ninh Province for their warm welcome and highly appreciated the development potential, strategic location and attractive investment environment of the province. He expressed his belief that the cooperation between Guangdong and Tay Ninh will become increasingly substantive and effective, especially in the fields of economics, trade, logistics and digital transformation.
