Provincial National Assembly delegation meets voters of My Loc and Vu Ban districts

In preparation for the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly, the provincial National Assembly delegation, including comrades Le Khanh Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Office of the President ; Nguyen Hai Dung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Thi Thuy Ngoc, Chief of Office of the Provincial Women's Union, met with voters in My Loc and Vu Ban districts. Attending the meeting were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council, and My Loc and Vu Ban districts.

At the meeting, the representative of the provincial National Assembly Delegation reported to the local voters on the expected content and program of the seventh session of the 15th National Assembly; the results and activities of the provincial National Assembly Delegation after the sixth session of the 15th National Assembly to date and the plan of activities in the coming time; the responses of the central ministries and branches to the opinions and recommendations of the voters of Nam Dinh province at the sixth session of the 15th National Assembly received so far. It is expected that at this session, the National Assembly will consider 24 contents related to legislative work; 16 contents on socio -economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues.

Local voters highly appreciated the programs and contents of the seventh session of the 15th National Assembly; acknowledged the active and responsible working spirit of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, including many practical activities that made important contributions to the activities of the National Assembly, directly participating in the promulgation of many policies and decisions, contributing to the country's further innovation and development; the National Assembly Delegates also fully and promptly conveyed the opinions of Nam Dinh voters to the National Assembly and competent agencies and hoped that the Provincial National Assembly Delegates would continue to promote their role at the seventh session of the 15th National Assembly. At the same time, they made recommendations on issues related to the local socio-economic situation.

Voters of My Loc district propose to the National Assembly, the Government, ministries, central and provincial branches to promptly resolve the shortage of vaccines for children and medicines for patients receiving health insurance at public health facilities. Pay more attention to investing in the health sector such as equipment, supplies, medicines, medical staff, doctors, nurses with good professional qualifications and good medical ethics to take care of health and treat people at district and provincial levels. Socialize the establishment of a monthly support fund for cancer patients, to help patients reduce economic difficulties, showing the love and humanity of the whole society. The banking sector and mobile network operators consider supporting or exempting service fees for beneficiaries of monthly allowances when receiving notifications of balance changes on their phones. Regarding traffic safety, voters of My Loc district requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies to research and install a traffic light system on Provincial Road 485B (crossing two main roads of My Thanh commune) to ensure safety for people participating in traffic, especially students of My Thanh commune who go to school every day via the route...

Voters of Vu Ban district proposed to the National Assembly, the Government, and central ministries and branches on three issues: regulations for commune-level cadres and civil servants; new rural development (NTM) and policies. In particular, voters proposed to consider amending the 2008 Law on Cadres and Civil Servants to unify the 4-level cadres and civil servants, without distinguishing between commune-level cadres and civil servants to encourage grassroots cadres to wholeheartedly fulfill their tasks. Especially for the position of Chairman of the Commune People's Council, voters stated that this position is clearly defined in the Law and in reality has a very important role and responsibility for the locality but does not receive salary or allowances. In the field of new rural construction, voters proposed a policy of financial support for communes in the maintenance of welfare works such as: roads, canal systems, schools, medical stations, etc. Propose that the State consider policies to build social housing, low-cost houses for sale on installments or provide workers with preferential loans with low interest rates to buy houses to stabilize their lives. Propose that the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs propose to amend the Ordinance on Incentives for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution; consider adding regulations for relatives of war invalids of class 3/4, 4/4 and sick soldiers of class 3 to enjoy health insurance.

Speaking at the contact points, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Hai Dung respectfully thanked the opinions and recommendations of voters in My Loc and Vu Ban districts; discussed and clarified related contents with voters. At the same time, he accepted the contents of voters' recommendations and will fully synthesize them, submit them to the National Assembly, the Government and central and local authorities for consideration and resolution, meeting the legitimate requests and aspirations of voters./.
