Hanoi City Police: 11 billion VND to support people affected by natural disasters

In just a short time, officers and soldiers of Hanoi City Police have donated 11 billion VND to support people affected by natural disasters and floods.

Recently, Hanoi City Police have organized many working delegations to directly visit, encourage and give financial support to officers, soldiers and people in localities such as: Bac Ninh , Lang Son, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Quang Ngai, Da Nang (through local police) with an amount of 500 million VND/locality.

As planned, on November 5, the Hanoi City Police Delegation will continue to Hue and Quang Tri to present funding to support units in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods.

Along with organizing working groups to directly visit and give support funds to officers, soldiers and people through the Police of provinces and cities, the City Police transferred 3 billion VND to the People's Police Comradeship Fund, Ministry of Public Security... For officers, soldiers of the City Police and their relatives who suffered losses due to natural disasters, the City Police reviewed, counted and provided initial support to 51 cases of officers, soldiers and their relatives who suffered losses, helping families to partly overcome storms, floods, and stabilize their lives.

The meaningful business trips and gifts, although not of great material value, contain deep sentiments, demonstrating the social responsibility and solidarity of officers and soldiers of the Capital Police.

The 2025 flood relief activities continue to spread the beautiful image of the People's Public Security soldiers: "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", always ready to share and help people in all difficult circumstances; contributing to strengthening solidarity and cohesion between the Public Security forces of units and localities, joining hands with the whole country for a peaceful and happy life for the people.
